Sometimes, Your TTM Return Is Better Than Expected

Unfortunately, I'm a Sports Illustrated subscriber. I say that because I pay $80 a year for a magazine that goes from my mailbox to my magazine rack, usually without me even opening it.

A few weeks ago, however, the SI cover was graced by Pirates closer Jason Grilli. "Hmm...wouldn't it be cool if I could get Grilli to sign this for me?" I thought to myself. So, I dropped it in the mail, along with his 2013 Heritage card, to see if it would happen.

BOOM.  How awesome is this?  Signed and inscribed to me - I couldn't ask for anything better.  By far, this is my favorite TTM response.

 He also signed and numbered the card, which just adds to the sheer awesomeness of this TTM. Truly, I am a big fan of Grilli now!
