Well, Topps FINALLY Screwed Me

I've been back in the collecting world for almost a year now. I've read horror stories that some if y'all have had, from redemptions taking months and years to get to poor collation and so on and so on. I've never had a problem though.

Until tonight.

I stopped by Walmart to grab a few things and decided to grab a blaster of Chrome since I decided to put the set together. Imagine my surprise, disappointment and anger when I looked at the cards inside:

With the exception of five cards (four normal refractors and one insert), every single card was a purple refractor.

Blasters are supposed to have one pack of purple refractors and seven packs of normal cards.

I can't build a freaking set with a blaster full of purple refractors.

Topps, you freaking suck.

  1. You could probably sell them all on ebay (assuming you want to take the time) and earn more than enough for a new blaster.

  3. Dude, that's what's called a hot box. I'd be ecstatic. Sell those babies (or trade the Dodgers to me).

  4. Hahaha Evidently I'm the only person pissed about all of this. I'm guessing I should chill out.

  5. That happened to me with a Heritage blaster earlier this year, though it was just one purple refractor per pack. I guess that means you have lots of trade bait now!
